Demonstrated in this video are examples from our colleagues from Hacienda La Puente who have shared how our federal grant, Teaching English Language Learners through the Arts Project have enabled teachers, students, and families to embrace the arts and technology to support students' literacy skills. These second grade students and parents experienced collaborative learning during COVID and utilized virtual tools such as Google Arts and Culture to conduct research to replicate visual art masterpieces, and be empowered by Student Voice & Leadership skills.
